  • Description: The WS2813 led strip has the break-point continue function, means that one led broken will not affect another led unless two consecutive led is broken , more reliable than before.

Overview:

WS2813 LED strip is IC built in LED, one LED has one IC INSIDE, that means each LEDs is independently addressable (144 individually addressable LEDs in 1 meter), more user friendly and more decorative lighting style possibility.

WS2813 led has 2 data line (one is Data, another is Backup data) even it is single signal pixel, which is update version addressable led based on WS2812B. The WS2813 led strip has the break-point continue function, means that one led broken will not affect another led unless two consecutive led is broken , so WS2813 led make digital led project is more reliable than before.

Product Description:

1) WS2813 chip built-in a 5050 LED, one LED one pixel, individual control.


2) Support Break-point continue function, one LED broken will not affect following LED, the following LED can keep working, more reliable and safety.

3) Every 0.5m with solder joint, and 5m/reel in normal case.

4) WS2813 LED strip is connected with 4-pin JST connector( two data line, two power lines), 256 gray scale, high brightness, fast data transfer, fast screen refresh, etc.

Two data lines are Data and Backup data, the backup data line will continue to work when the data line broken, that is why WS2813 led strip support break-point resume function.


5) Each lamp beads form a loop, can be cut between every loop to meet custom lengths.

6) The led strip has 4 type waterproof level as following:

IP20/IP40----Non-waterproof. Using it in indoor and keep away from rain wet

IP65---- Silicone coating. Anti small water drop, fit on damp location

IP66/IP67---- With silicone tube. Anti big water drop, fit on outdoor exterior building

IP68---- With silicone tube and silicone coating (IP65+IP67). Fully waterproof,  it also be placed in the swimming pool

7) Do not bend strip sharply. Do not exceed 2 meters in a single circuit. Longer runs should be powered from both ends to reduce voltage drop.

8) WS2813 LED strip using DC5V voltage to power supply, high safety factor, and is controlled by a single data line from a suitable controller. (PSU and controller are not included)


Installation:

1) For IP40 & IP65 LED strip, clean the installation surface, pull the 3M paper out of the back of LED strip, and then fix to the mounting position directly.

2) For IP67 & IP68 LED strip, clean the installation surface, put the LED strip on the position, and use silicone slip and screw fix to the mounting position. One meter LED strip with 2 pcs silicone slip.
